Slender Man.

Slender Man is probably one of the most popular internet Mythos, he can be found almost anywhere on the net. Slender Man was created by Victor Surge(real name Eric Knudsen) on June 8, 2009 and first appeared on the Something Awful forum threads for a contest to create 'Paranormal' images.

 After that he made his way to the Creepypasta threads where his stories began to grow and make their way around the web. He is usually described as a very tall man in a simple black suit and tie, his bald head has no face. He is sometime depicted with black tentacles protruding from his back. He is often shown in wooded areas or places with children.

 He is said to kidnap children and torture unsuspecting people that happen to cross his path. After his popularity began flourish, groups of people began making videos about encouters with Slender Man and posting them to Youtube.com these groups include, EveryMan Hybrid, TribeTwelve, and Marble Hornets to name a few. Shortly after making his way to youtube Slender Man was put into his very own indie horror game titled 'Slender', created by Mark Hadley. The creation of the Slender game only furthered Slender Man's popularity, causing him to show up everywhere. Which makes it easy to find him anywhere, and with that I'll wrap this post up.
